We have been doing this for more than 15 years and
over 200 homes!
Because of the issues with lead paint, we will not
be able to scrape homes that were built before 1975. That means this
year we will be working at various service organizations around our
area. We will still be making a great impact on our area!

COST:
$20 plus gloves and some
specific tools for your job. These will be specified on Sunday
night.
Our schedule for the week:
Sunday 8:00pm- Orientation @ the ROCK, 1615 W.
Louisiana
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
8:00 meet at First Methodist to head out to our
homes to scrape and paint. We finish at 11:30 and head back to
First Methodist and eat the sack lunch that you brought with you.
Each night @ 7pm we meet for Youth Rallies @ The ROCK
for games, videos, great music and a fun speaker!

What?

We have plenty of programs designed to bring missions around the country, but we
don't want to leave out our home town! McKinney has plenty of needs, and one of
the goals of Mission: McKinney is to help out a little with those needs.
Students of all denominations paint homes in McKinney and meet nightly for
inspiring rallies. It costs these teens a little money and a few days, but the
rewards are priceless! Mission McKinney is three days out of the summer when
area churches get together to make a difference in McKinney. Each Morning
The students paint and scrape area houses, and each night there is a worship
service with great worship and dynamic teaching. Mission: McKinney is ten
years old and over the years we have helped paint to 110 homes. Get
involved in this great work of God.

Churches form all of the area. These are some of the
churches that have been involved in the past; First Methodist,
Fellowship Bible, Shiloh Church of God in Christ, Carlisle St.
Church of Christ, Highpoint Church of Christ, North Baptist, Waddill
St. Baptist, Trinity Pres., Wesley Methodist, Crosspoint Church,
Hillcrest Christian, First Baptist, Stonebridge Methodist, St.
Gabriel's and many more. Your church can get involved too!
